Our pupils have immersed themselves in the world of farm animals.
Around the World: Discovering France
This month, our young explorers embarked on a wonderful journey without leaving the classroom: we visited France! As part of our Around the World project, the children immersed themselves in French culture, cuisine and landscapes, engaging all their senses in experiential learning, in true Montessori fashion.
Discovery Proyect
At Mountain Peak Montessori School, we nurture children's natural curiosity through dynamic and engaging learning experiences. For this reason, we have created the "Discovery" project—an exciting adventure in which our pupils immerse themselves in the fascinating world of dinosaurs and volcanoes.
Around the world
At Mountain Peak Montessori School, we believe that diversity is a valuable asset that should be celebrated and shared. For this reason, our "Around the World" project is an initiative that allows us to discover a new country each month through its customs, traditions, and culture.
Carnival
Last Friday, 28th February, Mountain Peak Montessori School was filled with colours, laughter, and creativity as we celebrated Carnival.
FIRST AID COURSE
At Mountain Peak Montessori School, we believe that the safety and wellbeing of children are of the utmost importance. Knowing how to act in an emergency situation can make all the difference and even save lives. That is why we have prepared a special first aid course for children, aimed at families, taught by the Red Cross.
IVAM MUSEUM
Over the past two weeks, we have experienced a truly magical time during our excursions to the IVAM (Institut Valencià d’Art Modern), where our pupils have thoroughly enjoyed the “La Juguetoria” room.
The Importance of Personal Hygiene in a Montessori Environment
In the Montessori methodology, the holistic development of children is a priority, and personal hygiene plays a crucial role in this process. In the infant community environment (ages 18–36 months), hygiene is viewed not only as a matter of health but also as an opportunity to foster autonomy, responsibility, and respect for oneself and others.
The Project: Professions at Mountain Peak Montessori School
At Mountain Peak Montessori School, we are always seeking ways to enrich children’s learning through meaningful experiences, and the Professions Project is a wonderful example of how we achieve this. This initiative not only sparks the curiosity of our youngest learners but also strengthens the bonds between the school and families, creating a collaborative and enriching learning environment.
The development of autonomy in early Childhood.
In early childhood, every step towards independence represents a significant achievement for children.
Meetings with families before Christmas
Today marks the beginning of our family meetings as we approach the conclusion of the first school term. This is a pivotal moment in the calendar of Mountain Peak Montessori School, and we wish to emphasise the significance these meetings hold for the holistic development of your children.
20th November: Children's Rights Day. A Charitable Initiative.
