Nido Environment

In our Nido environment, the little ones explore the world with their hands 👐. Every detail is carefully designed to support the development of fine motor skills: from inset blocks and baskets filled with natural objects, to transfer activities using spoons and small containers.

Around the World: Discovering England

As part of our journey around the world, this month we made a very special stop: we arrived in England! Within the Around the World project, our young explorers experienced an immersion into British culture through sensory activities, hands-on materials and experiences thoughtfully adapted to their stage of development.

Discovering the Space

At Mountain Peak Montessori School, we have undertaken an exciting project about Space. Through sensory materials, stories, art, and play, our pupils have discovered planets, stars, and rockets – and have even “travelled” to the Moon!

The Role of the Montessori Guide in the Infant Community

The Infant Community environment is a space specifically designed to support the child’s earliest steps towards autonomy, socialisation and discovery. But what is the role of the adult in this setting? This is where the Montessori guide plays a vital role.

This month, our young explorers embarked on a wonderful journey without leaving the classroom: we visited France!
