Initial Meetings
Dear Families,
As we approach the beginning of a new school year, we would like to remind you of the importance of the individual meetings taking place tomorrow and on Thursday. These meetings are a cornerstone of our Montessori philosophy, as they enable us to establish a strong foundation of communication and trust between families, children, and the educational team.
In the Montessori approach, every child is unique and learns at their own pace. For this reason, it is essential that we have the opportunity to get to know one another thoroughly before the school year begins. These meetings allow us to:
Understand each family’s needs and expectations: Gaining insight into your concerns, hopes, and goals for your child’s development.
Observe how children interact with their environment: It is crucial that the children attend the meeting. This first encounter helps us to see how they feel in their surroundings, how they explore, and how they engage with the space that will be their home during the year.
Establish a close and personal connection: We want families to feel that they are an integral part of their child’s education. These meetings are the first step in building an effective collaboration between home and school.
Personalise the educational approach: With the information gathered, we can adapt our pedagogical strategies to each child, respecting their individuality and fostering harmonious development.
Please ensure that the children accompany you. Their presence is fundamental to making this first contact as natural and enriching as possible.
We are truly excited to begin this journey together and deeply grateful for the trust you place in us to accompany your children in their growth.
