Introduction Workshop to the Montessori Method and Sign Language for New Families

 Dear Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome all the new families joining Mountain Peak Montessori School. We are excited to embark on this educational journey with you. As part of our commitment to integrating families into our educational philosophy, we are pleased to invite you to a very special workshop.

On 3rd September, we will have the pleasure of hosting an introductory workshop on the Montessori method and sign language. This event has been specially designed to help you better understand the essence of Montessori education and how you can apply it at home. Additionally, we will address sign language as an invaluable tool for early communication with your children.

What Will We Learn in This Workshop?

• Introduction to the Montessori Method at Home: We will explore how you can introduce elements of the Montessori method at home, creating an environment that fosters independence and a love of learning.

• The Importance of School-Family Collaboration: We will discuss the importance of working together, school and family, to provide a consistent and enriching education for children.

• Montessori and the Child's Autonomy: We will delve into how the Montessori method promotes autonomy in children, allowing them to make decisions and learn independently.

• Sign Language in Childhood: We will explore how sign language can help reduce frustration in children by offering them an effective way to express their needs before they develop full verbal skills.
