A Small Yet Great Discovery: A Science Workshop!

At Mountain Peak Montessori School, we firmly believe that learning is born from curiosity, experimentation, and a sense of wonder. For this reason, every opportunity to bring children closer to the real world becomes a meaningful experience.

We recently had the privilege of welcoming a mother from our community, who kindly shared a delightful science workshop with us. Using simple materials and great enthusiasm, she transformed the classroom into a small laboratory full of questions, hypotheses… and discoveries.

From the very beginning, the children showed a deep interest. They observed, touched, experimented and, above all, actively participated in each activity. In keeping with Montessori principles, the workshop was based on free exploration and respect for each child’s individual pace, allowing them to learn through direct experience.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to this mother for her generosity and dedication. Her involvement reflects the true value of community within our school: families and educators working together to enrich the learning of our youngest children.

Without a doubt, this experience reminds us that science, much like childhood itself, is full of magic… and endless possibilities.
