Initial Meetings with families

Dear families,

As we approach the beginning of a new school year, we would like to remind you of the importance of the individual meetings we will have tomorrow, 09/04/2024. These meetings are a cornerstone of our Montessori philosophy, as they allow us to establish a solid foundation of communication and trust between the family, the children, and the educational team.

In the Montessori methodology, each child is unique and has their own learning pace. Therefore, it is essential that we have the opportunity to get to know each other well before the school year begins. These meetings allow us to:

• Understand the needs and expectations of each family: To gain insight into your concerns, desires, and goals for your child’s development.

• Observe the interaction of the children with their environment: It is crucial that the children attend the meeting. This first contact helps us see how they feel in their surroundings, how they explore, and how they relate to the space that will be their home throughout the school year.

• Establish a close and personal bond: We want you as families to feel like an integral part of your child’s education. These meetings are the first step in building an effective collaboration between family and school.

• Personalize the educational approach: With the information gathered, we can tailor our pedagogical strategies to each child, respecting their individuality and promoting harmonious development.

Please ensure that the children accompany you. Their presence is essential for this first contact to be as natural and enriching as possible. The meeting will not be long, but its impact will be significant in helping your child adapt to their new school environment.
