Around the World: Discovering France

This month, our young explorers embarked on a wonderful journey without leaving the classroom: we visited France! As part of our Around the World project, the children immersed themselves in French culture, cuisine and landscapes, engaging all their senses in experiential learning, in true Montessori fashion.

With the support of hands-on materials, real-life images, maps and traditional music, we explored iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the River Seine and the lavender fields of Provence. We also learnt a few words in French, including “bonjour”, “merci” and “au revoir”, sparking a keen interest in foreign languages.

💡 Projects like this go beyond teaching geography or culture — they broaden children’s horizons, foster empathy and nurture respect for different ways of life.

Merci beaucoup, France! Our imaginary passports are now ready for the next destination… 🌍✈️
