Around the World: Discovering England
As part of our journey around the world, this month we made a very special stop: we arrived in England! Within the Around the World project, our young explorers experienced an immersion into British culture through sensory activities, hands-on materials and experiences thoughtfully adapted to their stage of development.
👑 We explored some of the country's most iconic symbols, such as the Union Jack, red double-decker buses, telephone boxes, and of course, Buckingham Palace.
🎶 We listened to well-known English songs and shared a traditional afternoon tea, during which the children learned to serve herbal infusions and small snacks independently.
📚 We also discovered classic stories by beloved British authors, fostering a love of reading in a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
Projects such as this allow children to connect with the world around them in a meaningful, respectful and experiential way. Each activity becomes a window into cultural diversity, language, empathy and wonder.
Thank you, England! Our adventure continues… 🌍✈️
