20th November: Children's Rights Day. A Charitable Initiative.
This 20th November, in observance of Universal Children's Rights Day, Mountain Peak Montessori School seeks to encourage not only reflection on the rights of children around the world but also community-focused acts of solidarity.
During this special week, we will organise a toy collection drive aimed at supporting children affected by the recent DANA. We aspire to contribute a gesture that brings joy and hope to those young ones who need it most.
How to Participate? From Monday, 18th November to Friday, 22nd November, we will have a designated collection area at the entrance of the school. We warmly invite all families to donate toys and books in good condition to ensure that every child receives something meaningful and appropriate for their age and development.
The Value of solidarity in childhood: Participating in such activities not only benefits the recipients of the donations but also instils in our students the values of sharing, empathy, and the importance of contributing to the welfare of the community. The collective effort in the toy collection is a wonderful way to show them that together, we can make a positive difference.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all families who join this initiative and help make this celebration of Children's Rights Day unforgettable for everyone. Every small act counts, and every smile matters!
